On Sunday April 27, 2014, Dr. Liz joined radio host, Tom Woods, for part II of their discussion on ADHD.
Dr. Liz is known for her non-medication alternative for ADHD. She has created the ACHIEVE Program to help young men and women to become organized, build self confidence and become accountable for their school work, and ultimately become prepared for college!
Dr. Liz's ACHIEVE Program is a 4 phase process where she helps students to become organized, build study skills, manage time, and prioritize. They also work on creating a work space that will improve productivity and efficiency. Students are initially held accountable to her but then to themselves through the process.
By the end of the program, students are able to identify their learning style and preferences, understand their strengths and use them to compensate for their weaknesses, and advocate for themselves within the classroom by asking for accommodations as they need them.
Dr. Liz can help you gain a 504 Accommodation Plan or IEP Plan, or to refine the one you have already.
