Read on about the "End of the Summer Mommy Blues", a blog for Blue Suit Mom and Smart Mom Solutions! http://www.smartmomsolutions.com/2013/09/19/end-of-the-summer-mommy-blues/
In this blog, I share in the woes of all mothers everywhere as the end of the summer brought a strong desire for mothers to send their fighting and bored children off to school a few weeks early!
Check out my latest article published in The Autism Notebook, September 2013 edition about how students with Asperger's Syndrome tend to become isolated as they get older. Initially, parents set up playdates and social interaction is facilitated.
However, as our children become older, they become the creators of their social lives. It's no longer 'cool' for mom and dad to set up a time to get together with a friend... and to decide what to do.
I'm curious to hear your feedback - please share!
