As a parent, once you receive an ADHD diagnosis from your physician or psychologist, you are faced with the decision of whether or not to medicate your child. That's a loaded decision as there are multiple variables to weigh that not only affect your child, but you as a family.

Although medication may be an option, it alone will not teach your child the skills he needs in life, such as learning how to organize, prioritize or manage time. Working closely with an ADHD coach will create behavioral strategies to use at home and in school.
