At Psychological & Educational Consulting, we have a team of professionals from which you can choose based on your need and our therapist's area of specialty and training. Our therapists are respectful, patient, and flexible in an effort to meet your needs and help you find relief, support, and answers to your questions. Yet, beyond the professional skill, we want you to find a connection with your therapist, as we recognize that this is an important part of our work together.
Rachael Berringer, L.A.C., M.A.
earned her master’s degree from Montclair State University. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor and has worked as a school counselor for the past 8 years. She has worked in the field of special education for over 12 years. Rachael completed post-graduate training in play therapy, AutPlay therapy, DIR/Floortime, Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, family trauma models, children’s yoga, social thinking , nurtured heart and mindful parenting, and executive functioning coaching.
Rachael currently works at a school for children with special needs where she provides individual and group counseling as well as parent support. She also works with parents to provide behavioral strategies and interventions in the home.
Rachael is the proud of mother of 2 children (ages 4 and 2). In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her boys.

Nicole also works at a private school for students with special needs where she provides group and individual therapy to students presenting with Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and learning disabilities. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic (CBT) techniques to help children and adolescents understand their
emotions and regulate their behavior.
In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, the outdoors, and music.

Daniel Cherry, MA is a certified School Psychologist and has over 15 years of experience in working with children and adolescents. He also has expertise in the field of special education from Early Intervention to transitioning young adults to residential living.
Dan uses both behavioral and developmental approaches to support children and their families who struggle with Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities and has a background and training in behavior management. He is well versed with Parent Coaching as well as providing psycho-educational evaluations, IEP optimization, 504 plan accommodation review, and IEP Advocacy.
In his free time, he enjoys remaining active and spending time with friends and family.

Jennifer Mandato, L.A.C., M.A. is a Licensed Associate Counselor who received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Montclair State University. She went on to pursue her Masters Degree in School Counseling from Centenary University. She is working towards her requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Jennifer has been a School Counselor for the past ten years in a private school for students with special needs. She provides individual and group counseling, as well as family support, future planning and executive functioning coaching. She works with children, adolescents and young adults with Autism, Anxiety, Down Syndrome, and other Developmental Disabilities. Jennifer uses the Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic (CBT) model to guide her treatment.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with her family.

Michelle Molle-Krowiak, LCSW, Ed.S. is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist. To further her clinical skills, Michelle received her Education Specialist degree specializing in play therapy. Michelle has been working with children and families for the past 20 years focusing on counseling children, and their families, with Autism, Anxiety, behavioral struggles, and learning disabilities. Michelle also works with children and families who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Michelle also provides Parent Coaching to provide behavioral strategies to use within the home environment. She brings her expertise in play therapy as well as well as working with children with special needs, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
Michelle is the proud mother of four children who is enjoying her parenthood journey with all its joys and challenges too!

Heidi Borst, Office Administrator,
is a freelance writer, nutrition & lifestyle coach, and mother. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Rutgers University, and is a certified nutrition coach.
Her interests include all things health & fitness, nature, cooking, and spending time with family.
