Psychological & Educational Consulting LLC (PEC) is seeking a licensed Clinical Therapist (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, or LPC) to join our growing private practice in Livingston, New Jersey. We provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families in a warm, inviting, and collaborative private practice setting.
PEC is a group practice committed to supporting the whole person by building meaningful, trusting therapeutic relationships that lead to positive change. Our team of PhD-level psychologists, LCSWs, and LPCs brings specialized experience across a wide range of ages and diagnoses. We highly value collaboration, consultation, and the unique perspectives each clinician contributes to our practice.
Position Details
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Flexible scheduling; day time and evening hours
- In-person and Virtual Therapy, hybrid
- Steady referrals provided
- Fully furnished offices and administrative support included
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, play, family, therapy using evidence-based approaches, including CBT, tailored to clients and their families
- Offer parent coaching as needed to support family skill-building and treatment progress
- Respond to new referrals within 24–48 hours to schedule intakes and follow-up appointments
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, session notes, and scheduling within our EHR system
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 15 clients per week
- Uphold professional licensure and comply with all ethical and regulatory standards
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Valid and active New Jersey license (LCSW, LPC, Psychologist)
- Strong commitment to client-centered, relationship-based care
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working with children, adolescents, and families preferred
