John Champion, LPC earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Marist College, a MA in School Counseling from Saint Peter’s University, and a post-master’s certificate in Advanced Counseling from Montclair State University. He is a certified NJ K-12 School Counselor and a NJ Licensed Professional Counselor.
John has vast experience working in K-12 schools as well as private practice. He works with children, adolescents, and adults specializing in ADHD, anxiety, autism and behavioral issues in children and provides parent counseling for parents who need support in helping their children. He also works with fathers and husbands specializing in the anxieties that come with those roles. As a former athlete and coach, John works with athletes to optimize performance and cope with the stress of being an athlete. He is available for both in-person and telehealth appointments.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys and is also an American Red Cross Instructor of Lifeguarding/CPR/First-Aid/
