John Champion, LPC, earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Marist College, a MA in School Counseling from Saint Peter’s University, and a post-master’s certificate in Advanced Counseling from Montclair State University. He is certified as a New Jersey K-12 School Counselor and is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor.
John has vast experience working in both school and private practice settings. He has served as a counselor in both public schools and a private school for students with special needs, and has worked with students at the elementary, middle and high school level. He specializes in ADHD, Executive Function Coaching (EF Coaching), anxiety, depression, autism, and emotional and behavioral disabilities. John utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in his treatment of children and young adults.
In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and coaches ice hockey.
