Sensory Processing Disorder is real, and it affects our kids. When I hear a parent tell me about how 'behavioral' their child is with little to no change after using behavioral strategies, my antenna go up because it sounds like there may be an underlying physiological reason for the child's behavioral outbursts, meltdowns, and intense agitation.
