PEC Therapist Spotlight: John Champion, LAC
John Champion, LAC , earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Marist College, a MA in School Counseling from Saint Peter’s University, and a post-master’s certificate in Advanced Counseling from Montclair State University. He is certified as a K-12 School Counselor and is a New Jersey Licensed Associate Counselor. John has vast experience working in both school and private practice settings. He has served as a counselor in both public schools and a private school for students with special needs.
John has worked with students at the elementary, middle and high school levels. He utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as he treats children and adolescents with such challenges as: anxiety, ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, depression, autism, and emotional and behavioral disabilities.
